ISO TS 29001:2007 (Identical), Petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries-Sector specific requirements-Requirements for product and service supply organizations

The design and implementation of a quality management system is influenced by varying needs, particular objectives, the products provided, the processes employed and the size of the organization. This standard specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization,
a)needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable regulatory requirements, and
b)aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable regulatory requirements.

It is not the intent of this specification to imply uniformity in the structure of quality management systems or applicable documentation.

This edition of API Spec Q1 is the identical national adoption of ISO TS 29001, Petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries-Sector specific requirements-Requirements for product and service supply organizations. This specification contains the API Monogram Annex as part of the U.S. national adoption.
